Ada Chapel Friends Meeting at 332 Grant St. in Wilmington is celebrating its 130th anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 18. Worship service begins at 10 a.m. with a special program from Pastor Violeta Gwynn, guest speaker Pastor David Brindle, and music from J. P. Lund. A time for fellowship and a carry-in meal begins at 11:15 a.m., with turkey being provided. “Join us as we remember Ada Chapel’s past, observe what is presently happening at our meeting, and look forward to what is to come.“
