You have the power to decide

Tuesday — Election Day — is an important day in Clinton County and throughout Ohio. It’s an opportunity for you to directly affect the democratic process and decide key issues, both local and statewide.

It’s you who”ll decide who represents you as council members, trustees, school board members and judge. Some of you will decide local tax or zoning issues.

And we all have a chance to decide whether marijuana will be legalized in Ohio and whether the state’s legislative boundaries will be reshaped.

Or, it’s you who won’t decide — if you don’t exercise your Constitutional rights by voting Nov. 3.

For more information on Tuesday’s election, the process, your ballot, and for answers to frequently asked questions, visit either the Ohio Secretary of State’s website at www.sos.state.oh.us/SOS/elections.aspx or the Clinton County Board of Elections site at www.electionsonthe.net/oh/clinton/.

The bottom line is that if you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem. Voting certainly doesn’t solve all problems. But it gives you a voice, and a hand, in solving them.
