How would you feel if you, your child, or even your grandchild, became pregnant after being raped? The rape would be bad enough — now your state is going to rape you again.

How would you feel every day for 270 days if you were forced to carry that pregnancy to term, especially if you are 10 years old? Would you re-live that rape every day? Did you know that several states allow a rapist to have rights to visit the child?

Now anti-abortion states are working to ban pregnant women (and children) from traveling to a state that will allow an abortion. Women who have miscarriages will have to prove it was a real miscarriage and not an abortion. I don’t expect the states will pay her legal bills.

I haven’t heard of any call to force a convicted rapist to have a vasectomy!
