We would like to extend a special invitation to all veterans to attend a program in your honor at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6 at the Murphy Theatre. The program will feature the Unified Christian Men’s Chorus, consisting of singers from Clinton, Fayette and Highland counties. This group is in its fourth year of performing gospel and patriotic programs. The Nov. 6 program will feature patriotic songs in our country’s history and will serve as a tribute to all veterans and active military personnel.

Recently, many of our veterans were honored with such activities as the Honor Flight. In addition to other activities, we want to be part of continuing to honor our military men and women. We hope this program will enhance the celebration of Veterans Day as we give thanks to these modern-day heroes.
