It seems to me that Republican Party Chair Tim Inwood (WNJ, May 13) is a bit ingenious in criticizing political passion on any side — considering all the anger and hatred expressed by the current president during the most recent campaign and since. Anger and hatred toward Hispanics, Muslims, women, liberals, progressives, the poor, the judiciary, the intelligence community, the media — and at least half the Republican Party.

He spends a great deal of ink criticizing our former president; continuing what Mitch McConnell began in 2008 — seemingly unable to reconcile the fact that Obama was a two-term president.

The election was Clinton’s to lose, and she lost it, except for the popular vote.

Tim, your guy won. Get over it! I’ll buy the tea.
