I had heard about Leadership Clinton in the past but never really looked into what it was until I was asked my employer to partake in the class. At first, like most people, I thought it would just be another class and would take up more of my time. I agreed to take the class but was still unsure that it would be worth my time.

Leadership Clinton has been one of the best experiences I have had as part of this community. I physically live in New Vienna (Highland County) but I work and “live” in Wilmington and choose to send my kids to Wilmington schools. I have learned so much about Clinton County’s history, the movers and shakers of the community, and found there is a lot more to Clinton County then I ever thought. It has really opened my eyes to how wonderful of a community we are blessed with.

Leadership Clinton has also been a wonderful networking tool. I am the Activities Coordinator at Ohio Living Cape May and it was exciting to learn about some new programs, organizations and people that I will and already have reached out to. The class has strengthened my desire to serve and give back to our community.

I believe Leadership Clinton truly has equipped me with the tools I needed to be a better leader at work, at home and in our community.
