I am writing this letter in full support of Kelsey Swindler for At-Large City Council member. Having grown up in Wilmington, I know all of the great things this town has to offer. After spending four years in Arizona, I decided to accept a new job and move back to Wilmington. I believe that Kelsey is the type of City Councilwoman who will make young professionals, like me, want to move back to Wilmington. It is so important for our small towns to keep our talented young people close to home to try to continue the process of improving the town. Kelsey knows this as well as anyone, as she is one of the talented young people who chose to stay in Wilmington. Her experience working at Clinton Memorial Hospital and Orange Frazer Press, as well as her time as a Clinton Community Fellow, will serve her well because she has gotten to know the community she will serve. I hope that you will take the time to vote for Kelsey on Nov. 3. She is truly an exceptional candidate, and someone who will work to make Wilmington a place all of us can be proud to call home.
