East Clinton reserves stay unbeaten at 14-0

LEES CREEK — The East Clinton junior varsity volleyball team defeated Felicity 25-10, 25-10 Wednesday in its annual Block Out Cancer volleyball match at the EC gym.

Coach Bob Malone said his team “pitched in and helped decorate and honor those that have had cancer, lost loved ones to and those currently fighting that battle.”

The Astros are 14-0 on the year, 9-0 against SBAAC National Division teams.

Sydney Beiting had two digs and Eryn Bowman had two assists and two digs. Jordan Collom totaled five aces, six points, eight assists and two perfect passes. Hadlie Clark finished with an ace, four points and two digs. Cadence Howard had five kills, an ace, two points and a dig. Aubrie Simpson had a one kill, two aces, 11 digs and six perfect passes match.

Jozie Jones posted five kills, two aces and three digs. Hayley Mess contributed two aces, three points, a dig and three perfect passes. Abbi Reynolds chipped in four kills and a dig. Bryston Roach had two kills and three perfect passes. Liz Schiff had a kill, two aces, two points, a dig and three perfect passes. Lauren Stonewall had two kills, an ace, three points, 10 assists, a dig and three perfect passes.
