Muskies post 3-0 win over Quakers in OAC volleyball

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington College volleyball fell to Muskingum University 25-11, 25-15, 25-18 in a straight-set Ohio Athletic Conference match at Fred Raizk Arena Wednesday evening.

In set one, the Fighting Muskies kept the Fightin’ Quakers out of system with eight service aces. In set two, attack errors plagued Wilmington has the hosts tallied six kills and six errors. Set three was much more competitive, but Muskingum hit a match-best .407 clip to take the match in straight sets.

Muskingum hit a .381 clip for the match to go along with 10 service aces and six blocks. Wilmington hit a .120 clip in total.

Individually, Raegan Flood and Khloe Taylor both finished with 11 kills for Muskingum while Emma Conrad dished out 28 assists. Lexie Huck and Brooke Bigrigg each had three service aces while Grace Pedersen and Kylie DeLuca combined for 29 digs.

For Wilmington, Joy Bebe put down five kills and tallied a .455 attack percentage while Christina Yarian also added five kills. Setter Andie Dolven dished out 15 assists while Macie Hamilton had a team-high 10 digs.

The Quakers (3-17, 0-2 OAC) head to the University of Mount Union on Saturday.
