Registration begins Monday for the Wilmington Parks and Recreation Department basketball season.

Students in grades 2-6 are eligible to play in the boys and girls leagues, which will be determined by numbers signed up by grade level.

Registration runs through Nov. 8. Basketball clinics for all age groups will begin the week of Nov. 22.

Coaches will contact players by Dec. 3. Practices will begin the week of Dec. 6.

Games will begin in January and be played at Wilmington elementary schools.

All games and practices will be cancelled when Wilmington City Schools are closed.
