Massie volleyball wins on Senior Night

ADAMS TOWNSHIP — With a 25-12, 25-11, 25-20 win, the Clinton-Massie volleyball celebrated Senior Night with a triumph over Lynchburg-Clay at the Lebanon Road gym.

CM seniors recognized were Alaina Bayless, Sam Bowman, Breckin Harner and Holly Young.

“Nothing better than going out on Senior Night and your last ever home game with a win,” CM coach Emilie Fisher said.

All four seniors contributed to the win. Holly Young led the way with 28 digs. Sam Bowman had a nice serving run in the first set. She finished with two aces and 15 digs. Breckin Harner had two kills and a dig. Alaina Bayless had seven kills and seven digs.

Giovana Rebelatto contributed two aces and nine digs. Kinsey Beam had five kills. Natalee Hillman had eight kills and nine digs. Maddie Phipps had 11 digs. Olivia Ward had three digs and an ace. Maddie Ward added 24 assists and six service aces. Mack Peters had four kills and Laila Davis finished with an ace, 14 digs and three kills.
