LEES CREEK — The East Clinton reserve volleyball team completed its perfect season Oct. 12 with a 25-11, 25-17 win over Bethel-Tate
“They stepped on the court and their love of the game shows on their faces,” EC coach Bob Malone said. “It has been a fun and exciting season and we are all sad that it has ended.”
East Clinton finishes 16-0 overall and 10-0 against SBAAC National Division rivals.
“This is the second year in a row the JV volleyball team has gone undefeated which speaks volume to the level of talent the athletes of the East Clinton volleyball program has,” Malone added.
Jordan Collom had an ace, a dig, a kill, three assists and two perfect passes. Abbi Reynolds had three aces, nine points, two digs, four kills and two perfect passes. Jozie Jones finished with an ace, a dig, three kills and a block.
Cadence Howard totaled two kills and two perfect passes while Aubrie Simpson had 10 digs and eight perfect passes. Eryn Bowman recorded six aces, eight points, two assists and three perfect passes. Lauren Stonewall had an ace, a dig, two kills and five assists in the win.
Liz Schiff had three digs and five perfect passe.s. Bryston Roach totaled four points, three digs, two blocks and two perfect passes. Cheyenne Reed had four assists and Hayley Mess had an ace, two points, four kills and two blocks.
