WILMINGTON — Baldwin Wallace University defeated the Wilmington College volleyball team 25-16, 25-15, 25-23 Saturday in Ohio Athletic Conference action at Fred Raizk Arena.

The Fightin’ Quakers hit a negative attack percentage in each of the first two sets, but rallied to put down 13 kills with five errors in set three. In that final set, the hosts trailed 7-3, but fought their way back to tie the set 17-17 on a Joy Bebe kill that was followed by a Yellow Jacket attack error. Another Bebe kill alongside three more BW errors gave Wilmington a 22-20 advantage, but the visitors rattled off five consecutive points thanks in part to a service run from Morgan Miller to finish the match in straight sets.

Victoria Long and Sofia Thomas both hit a positive attack percentage and combined for 14-of-23 kills for Wilmington. Andie Dolven tallied 21 assists while the duo of Macee Hamilton and Blake O’Brien produced 26 digs.

Wilmington opens the last week of its regular season at Capital University 7 p.m. Wednesday.
