The Blanchester seventh grade girls basketball team was defeated by East Clinton Monday night in its return to action from holiday break.

Paityn Conley led Blanchester with four points. Katie Hinkle and Haven Reeves had two points each. Reeves also played well in the rebounding department, coach Bella Cook said.
