The Blanchester eighth grade girls basketball team defeated East Clinton Monday night 28-3.
Coach Jamey Grogg was pleased with his team’s performance after having almost a month off from its last game. He said his team’s defensive effort was solid. In addition seven of the nine players were able to score.
Emma Hartmann led Blanchester (3-1 on the season) with 10 points.
Hailee Harris scored six points while Bailie Bare tossed in four. Allison Trovillo had three points, Jocelyn Lansing two, Tobi Tedrick two and Anna Rodgers one. Grogg noted Kendall Koch and Karlee Tipton also played well in the victory.
