Outscoring Blanchester 27-0 in the first quarter, the Wilmington seventh grade girls basketball team cruised to an easy 53-4 win Thursday afternoon.

This is the second straight game Wilmington has held its opponent to four points or less.

Miya Nance led Wilmington with 19 points, 11 of those points in the first quarter.

Chante’ Brown had seven points in the first. Auna Hudson had 10 points for the game. Nyomi Blackburn had five points and Ki Cole scored six. Alli Martin totaled four points and Gabby Newkirk scored two.
