Fisher makes Elks Sweet 16 all-tourney team

DAYTON — Kylie Fisher made the all-tournament Saturday in the Centerville Elks Sweet 16 Shootout.

For the boys, the team was fourth through two team games and two bakers with a 2,207 total.

In the round of eight, Wilmington was defeated by Turpin, who was fifth with 2,112 total.

Lucas Neff was the top individual for Wilmington, finishing 15th with a 395 two-game series.

Jayden Tackett had 389, Hunter Gallion 381, Isaac Pletcher 323. Single games were bowled by Dominick Walters (201) and the sub (142).

The average for the boys field was 177.

For the girls, with only four bowlers, a 14th place finish was expected. They lost to Maryville in the first round.

Fisher had games of 174 and 194 for a 368 series. She was tied for third on the all-tournament team, coach Joe Gigandet said.

Lexus Reiley had 294, Haylee Wright 258 and Kala Hatfield 251.

The average for the entire girls field was 134.
