ADAMS TOWNSHIP — Sadie Foster scored 30 points as Western Brown defeated Clinton-Massie 61-39 Monday in a non-league girls basketball game at Brian P. Mudd Court.

Foster’s exploits spoiled a career-best 23 points by Clinton-Massie’s Hannah Bowman. She also led the Falcons with 10 rebounds, six steals and two assists.

The Falcons are 6-14 overall, 2-8 in the American Division.

“We got down 9-1 and we could have went into the tank but kept working and playing hard,” CM coach Hilma Crawford said. “We were within striking distance most of the game. We cut the (deficit) to six twice midway through the third period but turnovers cost us.

“You give a good team extra chances and they will burn you and they did.”

Foster had 17 points in the second half as the Lady Broncos improved to 15-4 overall, 9-0 in the division. They won the American Division regular season championship for the third straight season.
