KINGS MILLS — The Wilmington High School lacrosse team was defeated by Kings 24-4 Monday night at KHS.

“We had a much better start, but could not keep up with Kings for the whole game,” WHS head coach Adam Shultz said. “Again, we are spending too much time on the defensive half of the field. Kings was able to move the ball very effectively and created unfavorable situations for our defensive unit.”

Jude Martin and Manny Castillo had goals for Wilmington. Austin Pagett recorded an assist.

The junior varsity Hurricane also lost to Kings 10-2. Jelani Hunter and Jon Custis had goals for Wilmington.
