CINCINNATI — Williamsburg had 12 hits and sophomore pitcher Avery Neth struck out 12 in an 8-2 win over Wilmington Sunday in the Cincinnati Reds Showcase game at Roselawn Park.

Neth had two doubles and drove in three runs while allowing just two Hurricane hits.

Wilmington is 0-5 while Williamsburg goes to 5-4.
