GOSHEN — In its first match since Thursday, the Clinton-Massie tennis team defeated Goshen 5-0 in SBAAC American Division action on the Clermont County courts.

The Falcons are 4-1 overall land 2-0 in the conference. The Warriors are 3-2 overall, 1-2 in the league.

“It was good to get the match in,” CM coach Rod Amburgy said. “The rain has caused us to postpone some of our matches.”

Amburgy said Shayne Hendricks and Benny Kosseda played a solid match at second doubles. Alex Jones continues to play well at first singles, the coach added.
