TRENTON — The Wilmington High School lacrosse team was defeated by Edgewood 12-3 Thursday night at Kubler Stadium.

“The Edgewood attackmen established themselves early and often,” WHS coach Adam Shultz said. “Even though we fell behind early, we still tried throughout the rest of the game. To be successful in the future, we need stronger starts.”

Logan Camp, Austin Pagett and Cameron McEvoy scored for the Hurricane. Jude Martin had an assist. Damien Crawford had eight saves in goal for WHS.

The Hurricane (3-5) plays at Clinton-Massie 6:30 p.m. Monday in the “Lacrossetown Shootout XIII” at Frank Irelan Field.
