G-Men stay unbeaten in National Division

BLANCHESTERIn a battle of the top two teams in the SBAAC National Division, Georgetown defeated Blanchester 5-0 Thursday on the BHS tennis courts.

The Wildcats are 2-2 in the division and 3-5 overall. The G-Men go to 5-0 in division play.

“The boys played hard but Georgetown was just too tough,” BHS coach Jake Weil said.

Bill Knapp had a tough loss at first singles, 6-3, 1-6, 6-10 “against one of the league’s best players and I was very happy and impressed with his effort,” Weil said.
