Hurricane offense not enough in 13-11 loss to Warriors

GOSHEN — Despite 17 hits and seven walks, Wilmington’s offense wasn’t enough in a 13-11 loss to Goshen Monday in SBAAC American Division baseball.

Ethan Henson led the Hurricane (3-14, 1-8) with four hits, three runs scored and two runs batted in. He had a triple.

Logan Phillips stroked three hits and knocked in a run. The freshman had a double and stole a base. Jake Stephens, another freshman, had tow hits, scored once, drove in three runs with a double and two stolen bases.

Jayden Tackett hit a solo homerun and added a single with two runs scored. Carson Hibbs had two hits while Sam Nichols had two hits, including a triple, and two runs scored. Josh Tolilver had a hit and scored a run. Braden Harmeling also scored a run for WHS.
