Freshman shortstop Harlie Bickett has been named to the All-Patriot League softball second team, the conference announced this afternoon.

A Wilmington High School graduate (class of 2021), Bickett started 45 of the Leopards’ 47 games, helping push the team to a nine-win improvement from the 2021 campaign.

As a rookie, the biology major led the team in batting average (.270), hits (40) and triples (1) and was second on the team in doubles (7) while hitting out of the No. 2 spot in the order.

“Harlie is a special player who is so fun to watch,” said Leopards’ fifth-year head coach Caitlyn de la Haba. “It’s exciting to see her recognized for her outstanding play and we know there are even more great things ahead.”

Of the 24 All-Patriot League selections, just two, Bickett and Colgate freshman Jillian Herbst, were first-year players.
