WILMINGTON — The Wilmington High School lacrosse season ended Saturday with a 15-10 loss to Talawanda in a Region 8 match at Alumni Field.
Wilmington (9-8) trailed 8-3 at halftime but pulled with 10-8 after three quarters.
“We put ourselves in some situations that make victory extremely difficult,” WHS coach Adam Schulz said. “I’m proud of the resilience displayed by our unit this afternoon. This style of loss is an unfortunate ending for our seniors’ career, but they have positively impacted our future athletes.”
Logan Camp had three goals for the Hurricane.
Cameron McEvoy had two goals and an assist while Nino Gonzalez added a pair of goals. Ky Bozarth had one goal. Austin Pagett and Eric Maus also recorded assists.
