Defending champion begins quest for another title

The defending Division IV state football champions opened official practice Monday at Frank Irelan Field. Clinton-Massie was back in action Tuesday morning at FIF with long-time head coach Dan McSurley and his staff putting the team through early workouts. Clinton-Massie opens its season Aug. 19 at Waynesville. Kickoff is 7 p.m.
