East Clinton JV volleyball sweeps Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG — The East Clinton junior varsity volleyball team defeated Williamsburg 25-19, 25-17 Wednesday night —.

East Clinton is 5-2 on the year, 5-0 against schools in the SBAAC National Division.

Coach Bob Malone said his team had just two service errors on the night, a 96 percent efficiency rate.

Emily Arnold had four aces, 12 points, three kills, a perfect pass, 18 assists and two digs. Taylor Barton had an ace, nine points, six perfect passes, an assist and 10 digs. Sydney Beiting had an ace, two points, a kill, nine perfect passes and four digs.

Hadlie Clark had a kill, 10 perfect passes and a dig. Karsyn Jamison had eight kills and and a block while Ava Mess had two kills, a pass and an assist. Cheyenne Reed totaled three aces, five points, two perfect passes, six assists and three digs.

Abbi Reynolds had a point, a kill and a dig. Liz Schiff had a point, five kills, eight perfect passes and six digs. Makayla Seaman contributed four points, five kills and two perfect passes for East Clinton.
