ADAMS TOWNSHIP — East Clinton overpowered Clinton-Massie 25-10, 25-18, 25-23 Monday night in non-league volleyball at Brian P. Mudd Court.

The Astros are 10-2 on the year while the Falcons fall to 4-7.

“I saw lots of good things during this match and lots of things we need to work on,” EC coach Sarah Sodini said.

Sodini said her team worked together and supported each other throughout the match.

For East Clinton, Trinity Bean and Aubrie Simpson had three digs each. Luisa Rigolin had six digs. Lauren Runyon had an ace, seven kills and a block. Jordan Collom finished with two aces, 11 assists and seven digs. Kami Whiteaker had an ace, five kills and seven digs.

Libby Evanshine had 18 kills, six digs and three aces. Eryn Bowman contributed an assist and a dig while Lauren Stonewall had one kill. Savannah Tolle had two aces, an assist and seven digs. Jozie Jones had a kill and two blocks. Megan Tong had five aces, a kill, 13 assists and two digs.

For Clinton-Massie Olivia Ward had three digs and Sydney Schneder had 10 assists, five aces and six digs. Emma Redman had an ace and six digs. Mackenzie Peters totaled two kills, a dig and a block. Kinsey Beam had eight kills, an assist, three aces and 13 digs.

Sophia Jones chipped in with five digs while Anna Jones had eight kills and five digs. Natalee Hillman had a kill, an ace and 13 digs. Annalyse George had had two digs and Laila Davis had two kills, three digs and two blocks.
