PLAYOFFS

There are 16 teams in each of the 28 regions who will make the playoffs. The top eight will host a game in Week 11. Here’s where the SBAAC teams stack up through seven weeks with their current rankings and potential first-round matchup based solely on this week’s rankings.

D3 Region 12: (2) Western Brown; (7) New Richmond; (16) Wilmington; (22) Goshen. As it stands now, Western Brown would host Hillsboro, New Richmond would host Tecumseh and Wilmington would face No. 1 seed Badin in the opening round. If they could win out, WHS would likely host a playoff game.

D4 Region 16: (14) Bethel-Tate; (20) Clinton-Massie; (24) Batavia. Bethel-Tate matches up with Fenwick while Clinton-Massie misses the post-season for the first time since 2001. The Falcons, however, could keep that string alive with three wins but unless somebody else knocks off Western Brown from here on out they may not make it.

D5 Region 20: (11) Blanchester; (15) Clermont Northeastern; (20) East Clinton. The Wildcats would play at Brookville in the opening round if things stay the way they are but an 8-2 finish could land Blanchester a home game. The Rockets would travel to Springfield Northeastern.

D6 Region 24: (5) Williamsburg. WHS would host Deer Park in Week 11 as it stands now.
