Massie girls complete unbeaten SBAAC season

BATAVIA — Committing to a single goal, the Clinton-Massie girls soccer team obtained that goal Thursday night.

The Falcons completed a perfect SBAAC American Division season with a 2-1 win over Batavia in league play.

“From the beginning of the season, we had one goal in mind and that was to win league,” coach Julio Madrigal said. “We all committed to it and worked extremely hard to achieve it.”

Clinton-Massie remains unbeaten with a 14-0-2 record. The Falcons finish 10-0 in the American Division.

Batavia had won the last two American Division girls soccer championships, so the road to the American title went directly through BHS.

Sydney Crowe had two goals and Kayla Wilson two assists in the win for the Falcons.

“I want to thank the Massie community for supporting our girls and our soccer programs, day in and day out,” Madrigal added.
