BBK Final: Williamsburg 67, Blanchester 41

WILLIAMSBURG — After an early lead, Williamsburg slowly pulled away from Blanchester Tuesday night for a 67-41 win in SBAAC National Division boys basketball.

Blanchester drops to o-4 overall, 0-2 in the National. Williamsburg is 1-1 in the National Division.

Bryce Sipple led Blanchester with 15 points, 11 of them in the third. Kaden Cromer had six of his 11 points in the second quarter. Blanchester played without one of its top players Evan Malott, who was sick.

Carter Sunderman led Williamsburg with 16 points, 14 of them coming in the first half. He had seven points in each of the first two quarters.

Blanchester was just 5 of 14 from the free throw line in the loss.

WHS took a 20-12 lead after one quarter. Zach West had five in the first for BHS. Williamsburg continued to put distance between itself and Blanchester by winning the second and third quarters by identical 15-11 scores. It was 50-34 going to the fourth quarter.
