Blanchester JV girls posts win over G-Men 38-35

The Blanchester reserve girls basketball team defeated Georgetown Monday 38-35.

On Saturday, Blanchester lost to Goshen 42-19. BHS was outscored 31-9 in the middle two quarters. Ali Trovillo had six points and Shelby Panetta totaled five in the game. Madison Gillman had four, Emma Hartmann two and Alayna Davenport two.

On Monday, Blanchester hit some big shots in the fourth quarter to pull out the win, coach Bob Reveal said.

Gillman had 12 points, which included a pair of three-pointers to give BHS a lead it would not surrender.

Karlee Tipton had 10 points, with a pair of first quarter three-pointers. Hartmann, Davenport and Panetta had four points each. Trovillo and Desiree Abbott finished with two points each.
