5th straight win for Massie 8th grade boys 40-14

ADAMS TOWNSHIP — The Clinton-Massie eighth grade boys basketball team defeated Western Brown 40-14 Thursday at Andy Copeland Court.

Clinton-Massie has won five straight games and is 9-3 on the year.

“Our team is finally starting to find their stride and are peaking at the right time of the year with the end of year tournament coming soon,” coach Clayton Morgan said. “A balanced scoring attack and our aggressive defensive style have been the keys to our success.”

Corey Frisch and Cobe Euton led Massie with 11 points each.

Colson Morgan scored seven and Ty Martin added four. Quinn McCoy, Brett Gray and Colton Fite had two points each.

Massie hosts New Richmond Monday afternoon.
