Massie 8th grade boys make it 6 straight, 34-23

The Clinton-Massie eighth grade boys basketball team defeated New Richmond 34-23 Monday at Andy Copeland Court.

The Falcons have won six straight games and are 10-3 on the season, coach Clayton Morgan said.

Ty Martin had 14 points to top Massie in the scoring column. Colson Morgan added 10.

Corey Frisch scored six points while Cobe Euton had two. Quinn McCoy and Colton Fite scored one point each.

Morgan said the Falcons set the tone in the win with aggressive defense and good free throw shooting. Massie was 6 of 9 at the line to seal the win.

The Falcons face unbeaten league-leader Goshen Wednesday.
