SPRINGFIELD – Springfield Kenton Ridge scored the first 15 points versus Clinton-Massie Saturday and rolled to a 76-55 victory in a non-league boys basketball game in Clark County.

Kenton Ridge’s Jordan Bailey led all scorers with 22 points, 16 of them in the third quarter to help swell the Cougars’ 35-22 halftime lead to 53-30.

Cougars Isaiah Charlton and Jayden Davis joined Bailey in double-figures with 17 and 11 points, respectively.

Bailey’s last of 3 bombs in the third quarter started a 13-3 Cougar run that gave Kenton Ridge its biggest cushion of the evening, 66-38 early in the fourth quarter.

Noah Greathouse, who finished with 15 points, helped Massie (1-5) keep the game from getting out of hand. He scored the last 5 points of the first half to trim the Cougars’ advantage from a first-half high of 34-13.

After Kenton Ridge (4-4) built its largest lead, Greathouse accounted for 7 points in a CM 9-0 run to cut the margin to 66-47.

Greathouse was 1 of 3 Falcons in double figures. Thomas Myers came off the bench for a team-high 16 points. Trey Uetrecht chipped in with 12.
