WILMINGTON – The Wilmington High School tennis program was on full display Wednesday and the result was a trio of wins.

The WHS varsity was a 5-0 winner over Miamisburg while the junior varsity and WATA middle school teams also posted wins on the WHS courts.

Wilmington goes to 4-3 with the win while the Vikings fall to 0-3.

“Jonny (Fender) and Caleb (Reed) were on fire at first doubles,” WHS coach Steve Reed said. “They bring a ton of energy to that court. Brayden (Rhoads) bounced back nicely after a rough outing yesterday. The Romer brothers (Jack and Jacob) paired up for a solid win at second doubles. Brady (Henry) adjusted nicely to the singles court and Avery (Bradshaw) has been one of my most consistent players this season. I like the way the players are responding to the changes in the lineup.”
