CMMS boys track, field win Batavia Invitational

BATAVIA – The Clinton-Massie Middle School boys track and field team won the Batavia Invitational with 124 points.

The Lady Falcons middle schoolers were third with 92 points.

On the boys side, coach Jim Wagner said it was a nice night to compete and the times reflected that.

Winners for the boys were Marty Kreider in 100-meter dash (12.1) and 200 (24.1); Richie Federle in 800 (2:29); the 800 relay of Isaac Elliott, Connor Stulz, Kreider, Eli Stiverson in 1:48.2; Stulz in the long jump (16-3); Elliott in high jump (5-2) and Johnny Hesler in pole vault (6-0).

For the girls, Bowman won the pole vault (6-6) and Mefford won the 800-meters (2:59.43).
