EC boys, girls both 3rd in tri-meet at Trace

EBER – The East Clinton boys and girls varsity track and field teams finished third Tuesday in a meet at Miami Trace High School.

Hillsboro and Miami Trace rounded out the tri-meet.

On the boys side, Patrick Dotson had a strong night. He was first in the long jump, second in the 100-meter dash, third in the high jump and wrapped up his eventful night with a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash.

Aidan Henson won the 1,600-meter run, finished third in the 3,200-meter run and was fourth in the 400-meter dash.

Micahel Horn hit the line third in the 300-meter hurdles while Van Frye was third in the 800-meter run.

For the EC girls, Braylynn Malone was runnerup in the 300-meter hurdles.

Carah Anteck was third in the 1,600-meter run and Brittney Wheeler was third in the high jump. Emma Malone placed fourth in the 100-meter dash.
