WAYNESVILLE – Aidan Henson scored in three events for East Clinton Friday at the Waynesville Invitational at Spartan Communty Field.

As a team, the Astros were 14th overall.

For the East Clinton girls, Lauren Hadley had the top finish, placing ninth in the shot put (25-0). As a team, the Lady Astros did not score.

For the EC boys, Aidan Henson scored in the 400-meter dash (sixth in 56.3 seconds), the 800-meter run (fourth in 2:13.1) and the 1,600-meter run (eighth in 5:02.56).

Patrick Dotson was eighth in the long jump (18-6.5).
