WHS lacrosse picks up second win at Newark 13-3

NEWARK – The Wilmington High School lacrosse team defeated Newark 13-3 Saturday here at White Field.

The win puts the Hurricane at 2-5 on the year.

Logan Frazier and Bailey McVay had four goals each with McVay notching three assists and Frazier one. Rudy Cresswell tallied three goals.

Jake Frazier had a goal and Peyton Hibbard had one goal and one assist.

“Offensively we found high percentage looks and capitalized,” said WHS coach Adam Shultz. “Our team showed great maturity by answering a second half surge by Newark.”
