Hurricane tennis nets unbeaten regular season in SBAAC

WILMINGTON – The Wilmington High School tennis team completed its unbeaten SBAAC American Division regular season Monday with a 5-0 win over Batavia on the WHS courts.

The Hurricane is 10-0 in league play. Western Brown is second at 8-2.

Wilmington will win the overall league championship outright if it finishes in the top three in Wednesday’s league tournament.

WHS can still share the league crown if it finishes fourth in the tourney and Western Brown win its.

The tournament was moved from Tuesday to Wednesday at WHS. Play will begin at 9 a.m.
