Astros score early, often in 12-1 win over Cardinals

FELICITY – East Clinton scored five runs in the first inning and never looked back Wednesday in a 12-1 win over Felicity in SBAAC National Division baseball.

“We did everything right,” EC coach Brian Carey said. “This is a great way to play late in the season.”

East Clinton is 6-12 overall, 5-6 in the conference.

Felicity drops to 3-12 on the year, 2-8 in the National.

Matt Mitchell had three hits and drove in three runs. Isaiah Curtis scored three times.

Tristan Burkitt pitched a complete game 3-hitter for the Astros.
