JAMESTOWN – The Clinton-Massie tennis team defeated Greeneview 3-2 Monday in a non-league match in Greene County.

The Falcons, 11-7 on the year, won the three singles matches.

The match of the day was at first singles where Clayton Amburgy won a 6-4, 6-4 match.

“I was encouraged at the way he picked up his intensity and battled back from being down 0-3 in the second set,” CM coach Rod Amburgy said.

• Austin Faucett defeated Lane Hilderbrand 6-1, 6-1

• Brennen Swope defeated Grant Calloway 6-2, 6-1
