MILFORD – Clinton-Massie defeated Milford 7-4 Monday in a non-league game at Milford.

The win puts the Lady Falcons at 22-4 on the year.

Taylor Florea scattered five hits and struck out 11 to pick up the win. She is 14-3.

Lindsey Carter had three hits and scored three times. Kendall Anderson drove in three runs.

“Today’s game was about getting ready for the tournament,” CM coach Anthony Lauer said. “We haven’t played since last week and we didn’t want to go 7, 8 days without playing. The girls came out ready to play and I thought we looked pretty good. Milford (17-6) has a great program. They have a tough schedule.”
