Zach Mitchell chooses Berea to play baseball

East Clinton senior Zach Mitchell has chosen Berea College to continue his academic and baseball career. Berea is a Division III institution in Berea, Ky. Berea athletics participate in the USA South Athletic Conference. Mitchell has .467 batting average this season with 18 stolen bases. His on-base percentage is .522. “We are very proud of Zachary and his commitment to his academics and athletics,” EC baseball coach Brian Carey said. “Zach is a leader in the classroom and on the field.
