FELICITY – Unable to score the tiebreaker, the Blanchester High School boys soccer team tied Felicity 4-4 Wednesday in SBAAC National Division play.

“We did miss some opportunities to pull out a win,” BHS coach Andrew Freeman said. “We did a good job to control the game possession-wise. We kept the ball at our feet most of the game.”

Blanchester led 2-0 off a pair of Carter Stevens goals but Felicity tied the match by halftime, 2-2.

The Cardinals took a 4-2 advantage with just over 25 minutes to play, Freeman said.

Reagan Burch and Brison Lucas scored for the Wildcats to make it 4-4.

Stevens, Burch and Colton Wilson were credited with assists.

Blanchester had 16 shots on goal.

“Even though the result may not be what we wanted, I think we progressed as far as our mental toughness and conviction,” Freeman said.
