Hurricane, Falcons compete in Mason Inv. boys race

MASON — Wilmington finished 22nd Saturday in Section 1 of the Mason Invitational cross country meet.

Tyler Parks led the Hurricane by placing 39th in 17:06.7.

Clinton-Massie finished 26th in the Section 2 race. Bryce Hensley was 98th in 19:41.4, the first Falcon to cross the line.

Both schools competed in the same middle school boys race with Jacob Ryan of Clinton-Massie the top finisher. He was 18th in 11:57.5.

Oliver McDermott was Wilmington’s top runner, placing 109th in 13:29.3
