WILMINGTON — The East Clinton freshman volleyball team knocked off Wilmington 25-17, 25-18 Wednesday night in non-league action at Fred Summers Court.

East Clinton coach Bob Malone said his squad was missing a top hitter and server. “They adjusted well to their new assignments and everyone hustled and played good defense to pull out the win,” he said.

Trinity Bain had three aces and two kills. Cadence Howard finished with four kills and Lauren Stonewall had two kills and three assists. Savannah Tolle chipped in with an ace and an assist. Megan Tong posted two kills, four aces and three assists. Aubrie Simpson had a kill and an ace.
