Bethel-Tate outlasts Blanchester for SBAAC win


BETHEL — Unable to make a fast start lead to victory, the Blanchester volleyball team was defeated by Bethel-Tate 25-11, 14-25, 18-25, 27-25, 10-15 Thursday in SBAAC National Division action at the BT gym.

Holly Scott had 16 points, a dig, six perfect passes and eight assists. Ally Davis finished with 14 points, three digs, six perfect passes and four kills. Caili Baumann had 13 points, a perfect pass, six kills and six blocks.

Madison Creager totaled 16 points and three perfect passes. Brooklyn Bockstiegel had two points and three perfect passes. Emma Falgner finished with a dig and four perfect passes. Ainsley Whitaker chipped in with two perfect passes and two kills.

Hailey Mulvihill had 12 points, two perfect passes, six kills and five blocks. Summer Schutte contributed 13 points, two perfect passes, 12 assists and a kill. Taylor Combs had a point and a perfect pass. Makayla Lanham finished with five perfect passes.
